PennEnvironment : Make sure the governor
hears our message, David Masur, PennEnvironment Director,
DavidM@pennenvironment.org, http://www.pennenvironment.org
Last week over 950 PennEnvironment activists emailed Gov. Rendell
asking him to step in and block the construction of five new coal-fired
power plants. If constructed, these plants would create as much new
global warming pollution each year as would be created by 6 million
cars.
The TXU utility continues to
push for the construction of these plants, so we need your help to make
sure the governor hears our message. Please take a moment to ask the
governor to do everything in his power to block the construction of the
five new coal-fired power plants. Then, ask your friends and family to
help by forwarding this e-mail to them.
